I was adopted from Korea. Now that I'm grown and married, my husband and I think we'd like to one day adopt even if we can have biological children. We haven't "tried" yet! :) Adoption is obviously something close to my heart. My brother

A: Private adoptions are the best. There is less likelyhood that the child came from questionable parents. By that I mean that many children who are wards of the state because the parent rights were terminated come from parents who were drug addicts. There

A good friend recently told me that in the US a private domestic adoption can cost upwards of $60,000. Is this true? Not that I'm doubting her or anything, but I just can't understand for the life of me why it would cost so much. I mean I'm not nieve
A: I've never heard of anyone spending anywhere near that amount for adoption fees. According to the site http://www.theadoptionguide.com/, the average cost for a domestic newborn adoption is $15,000- $20,000. Yes, it can be more expensive depending on the
