We have had 2 failed adoption, 4 unsuccessful IUIs and one FET with donated embryos which worked. Due to severe male factor and female factor infertility we have been unsuccessful. We only have one lab that does a semen analysis and it happens to be over 30 minutes away. And I will never use a handicap bathroom anywhere a lab or urologist is present again. In the middle of the office complex that the lab was housed in. Hubby was not happy about having to do this there so I promised to help him out. They had a handicap bathroom. As you all know the specimen needs to be there within 30 minutes. We are currently expecting our first child. They did not have a "happy room" to do this in. What did they have. First, it is nasty. Does that get rid of the primal wound when you actually carry the baby? Or, is it just as bad as regular adoption? You can have open adoption even in embryo adoption. Would this make it better?
