What are the legal laws if the surrogate decided to keep the baby?
With traditional surrogacy, the laws regarding the surrogate's right to keep the child fall under the regular adoption laws of the state. I am doing a paper on ethical situations regarding surrogacy law and i was wondering if you could help me. i have been searching for the siscussions and information regarding the surrogate mother keeping the baby and not follwing through with... Each state and country is different when it comes to laws, or the lack of laws, regarding surrogacy, so it would be difficult for me to give you a blanket statement here. In states that recognize gestational surrogacy, that provision does not exist, and the surrogate mother does not have the option to change her mind. I am unable to get pregnant, Physically unable to carry a child and my Husband has a Felony on his record so it would be extremly hard to Adopt. I want information on Surrogacy and any tips if you have been a Surrogate mother or know someone, anything.

I am unable to conceive myself, Now married for almost 7 years. My husband is very loving but i can see the pain in his eyes for having baby. Doctors told me that I can not conceive, as my womb can not keep the baby. Even IVF is not an option for me.
