More than a year and $55,000+ later, the Covingtons have a guardianship removal hearing scheduled. From there, the couple was reported to APS and in an ex parte (emergency) hearing, guardianship of their daughter was removed. A guardianship removal hearing scheduled to start today was unexpectedly canceled earlier this week. Although Ceci thrived in her parents’ home, the Covingtons decided five years ago to relocate their daughter to a group home in preparation for a future in which their caregiving abilities would cease. Tarrant County web site information lists the cancellation as “Per Judge” presumably meaning the current case judge, Steve M. King. After a couple of years, the home and the Covingtons disagreed over putting Ceci on psychotropic drugs....

When a petition for the appointment of a guardian is filed, you have the right to appear in court and fight the case. You should do this if you feel that you are not in need of a guardian, or you want someone else

I live in lincoln co....and im transfering to another school district....im am gonna say i live with my uncle and get educational guardianship papers..i dont know which one's i need to file for....guardianship, limited guardianship,or conservator.
A: lincoln county where? this is a matter for the school district where you are tranferring.
Also, if you do not actually live with your uncle, guess who will get in legal trouble if you are found out?
How to end a guardianship of a child without any more troubles?

I am a guardian to a 15-yr old boy and he has been giving me a lot of troubles in his schools, tickets from the police and etc. I want to end the guardianship ASAP. My ward threatens me that I cannot end the guardianship until he finds a new guardian
A: . Tell the Police that the kid threathened you. You want him locked up or put in juvie detention.
