Infertility Treatment Insurance Options: Take 1 : Girls Just Wanna ...

 Today I set out to find more information on insurance plans that cover infertility since my husband’s employer does not cover treatment at this time. Well his insurance doesn’t cover treatment, something about only covering medically necessary procedures so I guess trying to have a baby with faulty plumbing doesn’t count.  The head of HR from hubby’s job said that at this time they don’t offer such a plan and there isn’t the possibility of adding on a supplemental plan either. Employer/Group Insurance Plan.  After all I’ve read numerous infertility blogs over the years to understand the pain the women go through when trying to conceive. Recently, my husband and I decided it was time for us to get started on expanding our family. ”  But I know better, I’ve enjoyed the last 5 years together kid free. anyone know where i can go that has low cost fertility treatment or meds. and has anyone had results with natural remedies like vitex? been trying to concieve for 2 years with no luck. ins. doesnt cover fertility treatment and looking for alternatives

A: You can get clomid and things like that online I know for pretty cheap and I know that your insurance doesnt want to cover it for a baby but they have to when you have abnormal cycles and or if you can get your Dr to send you for PCOS or something like

A: I do...I would love to be able to afford them as I have been infertile for about seven years now. I have only been able to do a little bit in the way of treatments b/c my insurance won't cover them :(

A: Anybody CAN get treatment even if they don't need it, but just because they can doesn't mean they should. It is a waste of money.
