I've been looking for a website that has Papillon puppie up for adoption, but all of the websites I've founf have papillons that are 2+ years old. Does anyone know where I can find a website that has Pap puppies?
A: Don't trust a breeder that has a website. Go to www.papillonclub.org and they will give you lots of information on the breed and have a listing of professional breeders in good standing with the club and with the AKC.
Good luck.

My husband and I just a new puppy ~ a little boy Papillon approx 4 months old. He is just absolutely adorable.
We already have 3 Poms ~ and I am a huge supporter of adoption! Okay, there is a story behind this; my husband (God love him)
A: We've had six papillons and yep, that's normal. :p We have many friends with poms and paps and the poms just can't keep up no matter how they try. Papillons are not lap dogs, they are often compared to border collies as far as activity level and intelligence
Is this a good idea for my dog and her puppies?

I recently adopted a 1 and 1/2 year old golden retriever/doberman mix X AKC champion smooth collie (wonder how that happened?) When i went to the shelter i was dropping of some donations and i saw "Tia" She was very sweet and had just been dropped
A: Talk to your vet about having the pups spayed/neutered before they go to their new homes. And when in doubt call around to other vets to find whose willing to do it. At least then you won't have to worry about someone not following through on the contract.
