I am thinking of adopting a young child from a needy country.
A: Gosh, if you have to borrow money to adopt, sounds like you're not really a good candidate for a "needy" child anyway.
Children need their mothers, not substitutes with financial problems.
Why not raise some money

We have a balance of approximately $22K. Is there a low interest option for securing this loan amount, or do you just have to put it on your credit card? We don't have much home equity as we purchased the home last year, so I don't think that route
